ASM Global Announces Three Promotions at INTRUST Bank Arena

Wichita, Kansas – INTRUST Bank Arena, an ASM Global managed venue, is excited to announce three recent promotions from within the organization.

Shannon Duncan has been promoted to Senior Guest Experience Manager after previously serving as Guest Experience Manager since 2022. Over the past three years, Shannon has done an excellent job managing the guest experience department and overseeing a 130-plus-member team. She delivers exemplary customer service by always listening to guests’ needs and providing corrective action. In this new role, Shannon will continue to lead our Team in First Aid/CPR Training while assisting HR in New Hire Orientation. Shannon will also co-lead our Venue Excellence Committee, as well as serve as Manager on Duty along with being a member of our Safety and Security Committee. For summertime events, Shannon will assist with Guest Experience support at Capitol Federal Amphitheater.

Christy Kerekes has been promoted to Director of Ticketing after previously serving as Senior Box Office Manager since 2021. In her time with the organization, Christy has been instrumental in collaborating with promoters and event organizers to ensure successful ticket sales. In this new role, Christy will continue to lead our Select-A-Seat Team at INTRUST Bank Arena. Christy will also work to support The Orpheum Theatre, Century II Performing Arts and Convention Center and Capitol Federal Amphitheater. Known for her attention to detail and customer-first approach, Christy’s leadership will be key as we continue to grow and elevate our box office services for many years to come.

Claire Wiens has been promoted to Senior Event Manager after previously serving as Event Manager since 2023. In her new role, Claire will provide support to the Event Manager while also serving as our event lead for major events at INTRUST Bank Arena. For summertime events, Claire will provide event support for Capitol Federal Amphitheater. In the past three years, Claire has been involved in planning and executing 80 live events annually at INTRUST Bank Arena. This past March, she served as the Venue Event Manager to host the First and Second Rounds of the 2025 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship.
