ASM Global Welcomes Tyler Slanovec as Assistant General Manager & Director of Events at INTRUST Bank Arena

INTRUST Bank Arena and ASM Global have hired Tyler Slanovec as Assistant General Manager and Director of Events of the 15,000 seat facility in Wichita, Kan. Tyler began in his new role in October.

As Assistant General Manager and Director of Events, Slanovec will lead INTRUST Bank Arena in hosting more than 70 ticketed events plus numerous private community events each year. Additionally, he will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of the events department while also assisting to facilitate optimum efficiency from all other departments within the facility.

Prior to INTRUST Bank Arena, Tyler grew his career with Spectra Venue Management where he most recently served as the Director of Events & Security for the PPL Center in Allentown, Pa. for the last three years. Tyler brings a great deal of experience to his new role of Assistant General Manager, including a complex understanding of event production, security operations, private event bookings and the management of six-figure departmental budgets.

Slanovec attended Bridgewater College where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. As a member of the intercollegiate baseball team, Slanovec was named to the Academic All-Conference team in each of his four seasons from 2011 - 2014. After receiving his undergraduate degree, Tyler attended Temple University where he received his Master of Science in Sports Business.
