INTRUST Bank Arena Launches New, Faster Website with Mobile-First Design to Kick Off Ten Year Anniversary

INTRUST Bank Arena launched the latest version of its website at intrustbankarena.com last week. Visitors will notice an updated look and enjoy advanced functionality for an improved user experience, from the home page to seating charts to photo galleries. The website launch coincides with INTRUST Bank Arena’s 10 Year Anniversary and kicks off a series of marketing efforts and celebrations that are planned for the year.

“INTRUST Bank Arena is focused on continually improving the guest experience, both inside the arena and online,” said Christine Pileckas, Director of Booking and Marketing for INTRUST Bank Arena. “Our latest website delivers easier access to upcoming events, a seamless online ticket-buying process, and overall faster performance.”

Developed using “mobile-first” design, Pileckas says the upgrades reflect current audience preferences. “Research shows our audiences most often access the site on a mobile device,” Pileckas says. “This is true of most entertainment venues, so we’re pleased to bring added responsiveness to a mobile-first world.”

Designed and programmed by Howerton+White, the upgrades reflect extensive user-experience research and event venue trends. “By focusing on improving back-end process automation we’ve enabled a more seamless experience online — it’s what mobile-first design is all about and is particularly important in the entertainment industry,” says Alan Kennedy, Director of Platform Strategy for Howerton+White.

Site visitors will see upcoming events featured on the home page with concert-day information and easier access to last-minute ticket purchases. Fans can better find image galleries from all past INTRUST Bank Arena events, helping connect concert goers to favorite acts. Throughout the site, mobile sharing functions are also improved, allowing content to more easily be shared through social networks.

Pileckas says it’s appropriate the new site is debuting at the start of the Arena’s 10th year. “We have an exciting line up of top-tier artists and events in 2020 and, through this improved site, fans should find it easier to plan, purchase, enjoy, and share their experiences,” she says.
