Meryl Loop Named to IAVM's 30 Under 30 Class

Meryl Loop, SMG Guest Experience Manager for INTRUST Bank Arena, has been named to the 2019 30 UNDER 30 class by the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM) Foundation. In its fifth year, this program focuses on identifying and developing the talent of venue industry professionals, 30 years of age and under, through increased access and exposure to industry networking and thought leadership.

Loop was honored for a variety of accomplishments at INTRUST Bank Arena. Having earned her certification by the Red Cross to be an instructor in First Aid, CPR and AED, Meryl leads the Arena’s effort to train and certify all full-time employees in these areas. As an active member of the Arena’s Venue Excellence Committee, Meryl played a major role in completing and submitting extensive applications for the IAVM Venue Excellence Award which INTRUST Bank Arena was honored with in 2013 and 2018. Additionally, she serves as a vital member of the Arena’s Security, Safety and Social Committees. Loop also was instrumental in developing an employee training program, and assists in leading the trainings, which teach new employees our guest experience policies and procedures and encourages them to live out the Arena’s Core Values. Loop is a graduate of Newman University where she earned her Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Management.

“On behalf of our entire team at INTRUST Bank Arena, we’re extremely proud to see Meryl receive this very well-deserved recognition by IAVM,” said AJ Boleski, SMG General Manager. “Meryl’s passion for our venue and this industry shines every day in her work efforts. We are honored to have someone like her be the driving force of our Guest Experience Team.”

Designed to engage the best and brightest young professionals in the venue management industry, the 30|UNDER|30 program recognizes emerging leaders – and their talents – which help accelerate the industry and carry it into the future. The Class of 2019 will convene at IAVM’s VenueConnect Annual Conference and Trade Show in Chicago, July 21-24. They will also be provided opportunities for continued education for professional growth in the venue industry to help them become better, more productive employees.
