INTRUST Bank Arena Ranked as 59th Busiest Arena in the U.S. in Year-End Rankings
(Wichita, Kan.) – The SMG-managed INTRUST Bank Arena finished as the 59th busiest arena in the United States and 103rd in the world in Pollstar Magazine’s 2017 Year-End Top 200 Arena Rankings. Rankings are based on tickets sold worldwide for shows played between 1/1/17 and 12/31/17. INTRUST Bank Arena was also the eighth highest ranked arena in the continental United States managed by SMG, the Philadelphia-based venue operator that manages more than 230 facilities, nearly 70 arenas and over 1.75 million seats worldwide. The totals do not include tenant sport team ticket counts, some family shows, or SMG-produced special events. Pollstar is a weekly trade publication covering the worldwide concert industry.
Additionally, INTRUST Bank Arena hosted 14 of the Top 100 Tours in 2017, including Paul McCartney, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Neil Diamond, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Cirque du Soleil ‘Toruk,’ Eric Church, Dierks Bentley, Foo Fighters, Twenty One Pilots, Disney On Ice, WWE, Harlem Globetrotters and Winter Jam.
