With an average of 225 days of sunshine a year, there's a reason folks are so friendly in Wichita. As the largest city in Kansas, Wichita offers a variety of attractions and entertainment options, including several world-class museums, live theaters, art galleries, golf courses and distinctive shopping centers.
The INTRUST Bank Arena is located in the heart of downtown, near the WaterWalk, Wichita's newest destination development. Located on the Arkansas River near the Central Business District, Old Town and the Century II Convention Center, WaterWalk is full of exciting promise for the future of the city.
A few of Wichita's other unique attractions are the Exploration Place Science and Discovery Center, the Old Cowtown living history museum (think 1870s Midwestern cattle town) and the 77-year-old Orpheum Theatre. You may also want to check out our vibrant downtown district, Old Town. Within walking distance of the INTRUST Bank Arena, this beautifully converted warehouse district features brick-lined streets and historic lampposts, and offers eclectic shopping, exquisite dining and lively entertainment.
