(Wichita, Kan.) – The SMG-managed INTRUST Bank Arena recently ranked 9th among mid-size venues in the third edition of the Venues Today Social Media Power 100 Chart, released in their October issue. The chart ranks venues' social media reach using a number of publicly available data points.

Venues Today prequalified more than 400 venues for consideration on this year’s chart and weighted scores for venue size and market size. The chart breaks the top 100 venues out by capacity size and then ranks them among the venues within their capacity category. INTRUST Bank Arena falls in the 5,001 to 15,000 capacity category and ranked 9th among the twenty venues in the category. Venues in the 5,001 to 15,000 capacity include Red Rocks Amphitheatre (Denver), Radio City Music Hall (New York) and Nokia Theatre (L.A.).

“In the end, only the top 100 venues made the final list, and the marketing and promotions teams at all of the SMP100 venues should be proud of such a grand achievement,” said Venues Today Managing Editor, Dave Brooks.
